June 23, 2014:
These red Crape Myrtles came from the yard of a friend in 2009.
We got them for the red flowers which we don't have yet in our yard.
These are not in the sprinkler system, but we hand
watered them until they took hold.
They haven't grown much in 5+ years. The one on the right died but another sprang up near it.
They haven't flowered often, but here's one time they did. Aug. 29, 2012:
